Carol Miller is an accomplished psychotherapist specializing in the resolution of traumatic issues including those stemming from childhood. She uses several modalities of treatment including, but not limited to bilateral therapies known as EMDR, Brainspotting, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
In preparation for her 30+ year career, and while still an undergrad at Binghamton University, Carol created an independent study related to learning about families and mental health issues in a non-western culture, which she implemented in Beijing, China the summer of the student crackdown (1989) at Tiananmen Square.
In 1992 Carol earned her MSW degree from Syracuse University.
After relocating to the Jacksonville area and becoming licensed as an LCSW in FL. Carol delivered therapeutic services to Navy families on several area bases before opening her current private practice in 2010.
In 2018 Carol was asked, and agreed to, provide therapy for a Jacksonville, FL family appearing on the CBS TV show Face the Truth, produced by Jay McGraw, and his executive producer father, (Dr. Phil) McGraw.
